About Us
Coyote Creek is home to both a premium RV Resort and The Coyote Golf Club. The RV Resort features three phases of subdivided RV sites and a rental park. Our rental park consists of 30 beautifully landscaped sites as well as 10 spacious pull-thru sites. Resort site amenities include 50-Amp power, water, sewer, laundry, and showers.
The Coyote Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect Gary Browning. The property features state-of-the-art practice facilities, including Central Alberta’s largest driving range, as well as a modern fleet of EZ-GO golf carts.
Golf Club amenities include a full-service pro shop, The Coyote Den Restaurant, and a beautiful tournament tent ideal for hosting large groups and special events. Our History
The story of Coyote Creek began in the fall of 1999, when a group of local residents gathered to explore an ambitious idea: creating a golf course and RV park that the community could enjoy. Their vision quickly took shape, and on July 19, 2000, the company behind Coyote Creek was officially formed.
The first major milestone came in the spring of 2001 with the purchase of the initial quarter section of land on June 15. Shortly after, construction on Phase I of the RV Park began in September. By the summer of 2002, all 91 lots in Phase I were complete, and on July 6, 2002, the very first lot was sold to Mr. Del Dimmer. That fall, another quarter section was purchased, setting the stage for further expansion.
In 2003, construction began on the first nine holes of what would eventually become a championship 27-hole golf course. Those first nine holes were completed the same year, and in 2004, final refinements were made while the temporary clubhouse was ordered. That fall, work began on Phase II of the RV Park.
The year 2005 was a major turning point. Phase II was completed, and more than two-thirds of its lots were sold before construction had even wrapped up—making it a record-setting year for sales. The temporary clubhouse was installed, and the golf course officially opened its first nine holes to enthusiastic reviews from both locals and lot owners.
Building on that momentum, 2006 saw the creation of the second nine holes of the golf course and the complete sell-out of RV Park Phases I and II. Thanks to the excellent course design and playability, rounds of golf nearly tripled compared to the previous year. The new nine delivered on its promise of elevated challenge, with water hazards, large greens, and rolling fairways.
In 2007, play continued to climb, and work progressed on the Coyote Nine and Phase III of the RV Park, with lot sales once again exceeding expectations. The Coyote Nine officially opened on May 17, 2008, giving golfers access to 18 championship holes. Around the same time, the tournament facility was completed, positioning Coyote Creek as a premier destination for events.
Today, the Coyote Creek RV Resort remains a thriving and highly sought-after property. Phase III is fully developed, with only a handful of lots still available.
In 2026, a new era began when Coyote Creek was acquired by the Western RV Group of Companies—a family-owned organization deeply rooted in the RV lifestyle. Western RV customers now enjoy exclusive rights to purchase available Coyote Creek lots, including both current listings and future opportunities.
